Phaco Tip 134:
Burst Mode Parameters

I usually remove nuclear segments with the ADVANTEC^® LEGACY^® System in burst mode and the following parameters.

1. Power set at 30% (variable at 10-60% depending upon nuclear density)
   
   
2. Burst width of 30 ms

The bursts of fixed power will occur more frequently, from every 2.5 seconds to continuous, depending on the degree of footpedal depression.
